Academic Editing and Proofreading

Our Academic Proofreading Plus service aims to fix the linguistic flaws in a manuscript, including grammatical errors and anomalies, spelling and punctuation errors and inappropriate choice of words. With this service we will also identify labelling and formatting errors, repetitions, omissions and inconsistencies, passages that seem unclear or redundant, poor structure, lack of logical flow, information that we think needs checking, wordcounts that are over the limit, and judgements that seem to us to be overly categorical. Besides identifying these flaws we will also attempt to fix them.

With our Academic Premium Editing service, we address all the same issues, but give ourselves longer to solve them. The longer we spend on a manuscript, the better we can refine its vocabulary to catch the intended nuances, and the more we can engage with its arguments. If the client’s deadline is tight, we may have to work overtime. The additional work that we do on the manuscript is reflected in the price. We believe in giving every manuscript the time and attention it needs, while ensuring that deadlines are respected and keeping our prices competitive.

Confidentiality

We take our clients’ confidentiality extremely seriously. We will never share a client’s documents or data with any third parties. All our staff have signed non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) committing them not to disclose clients’ documents or data, and we can also sign a non-disclosure agreement with the client if the client requests this.
